Announcing New Webinars

Posted by Diane Cadogan on December 15, 2017 |

StudySync's Implementation Team hosts weekly, live webinars on topics ranging from Basic Trainings for teachers and administrators, to Deeper Dive webinars about assignment creation and assessment. In January, StudySync will be offering a variety of new webinar topics, including a Teacher Tips webinar about preparing students for creating submissions for the MyStudySyncTV Contest.
Teacher Tips
Several new webinar topics include Rubrics: Tips and Tricks, English Language Learner Support, and MyStudySyncTV Teacher Tips. The Rubrics webinar will cover how to assign Rubrics to students for both standard and peer review assignments, plus how to edit existing rubrics, or create custom Rubrics. The English Language Learner Support webinar will highlight StudySync's Sub Grouping capabilities, leveled texts, scaffolded lessons and Lexile®-leveling.
Our MyStudySyncTV Contest Teacher Tips webinar will feature teacher Elizabeth Ellison, a previous contest-winner, who will provide a framework on how to get started, guiding students in producing a submission, and other logistics of entering the contest. The discussion will include which resources to use, how to schedule time within the daily classroom routines, and what the best practices are for a contest-worthy entry. Additional topics to be discussed will include how to form strong student "production teams," scripting, and filming. Time will also be set aside for Q&A with our presenter and StudySync staffers.
